1. information we collect

We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, current employer or school, coaching history, resume, and responses to our questionnaire. We also collect payment information processed securely through Stripe — we do not store card numbers.

2. how we use your information

We use your information to operate the platform, match coaches with hiring programs, send you relevant communications about your profile and opportunities, and improve our service. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. coach data and hiring parties

Hiring parties do not have direct access to coach profiles. Coaches are introduced to hiring parties only after SideLion Recruit has reviewed both profiles and determined a potential fit. Your name, email, and employer are never shared without your knowledge.

4. data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. Resumes are stored in encrypted cloud storage. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe.

5. email communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional emails related to your account (confirmation, booking notifications, profile updates). You may contact us to opt out of non-essential communications.

6. cookies and analytics

We use minimal cookies necessary to maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking.

7. data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your profile is marked inactive but your data is retained for 12 months before deletion. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@sidelion.co.

8. your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, email hello@sidelion.co. We will respond within 30 days.

9. children

SideLion Recruit is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
